Every diet works for the same reason, and every diet fails for the same reason. Most diets are based on the same principles of eating more real food and being in a calorie deficit - this is a good thing. Most diets are also based on eliminating foods you love, and not teaching you how to handle real life and social situations.

If you ever think "I can't do this diet forever, but it can work for now", then DON'T DO IT!! Losing and regaining weight (yo you dieting) is the worst thing for your metabolism and it is proven over and over again that most people gain more weight back than they lost.

Breathe.

There's hope.

Be patient.

Be encouraged.

Why The Other Side?

We believe there is a whole other side of life that we could be living. If you only ever saw the “head’s up” side of a quarter your entire life, you wouldn’t recognize it if you saw the other side one day. You might even think it was a foreign coin. People are inundated with information about how life should be. We are isolated more than ever with advancements in technology, while being made to feel we shouldn’t feel alone. Finding a community and having goals to work towards is vital for our mental health. Learning a new way to perceive things, filling your body with the right nutrients, and having a genuine connection to others is the foundation of living life differently - living life on The Other Side of the coin.
